Football - American Style

A few students decided to go to an America style football game in Vienna.  They reported that they had a great time and even chased down a photo with the mascot!

Food

We enjoyed lots of yummy treats in Vienna, including a wonderful picnic.  We tried the famous cake I mentioned earlier.

The group (Alex, Luke, Grace, Maria, Amy and David) that visited Schoenbrunn Palace went out for Italian food afterwards.  We all agreed that our good was some of the best we’ve had on the trip - and the seating some of the worst.  We sat on cheap plastic chairs and a small little table since the restaurant was all outdoors and also was full.  We sort of took over this little place for our group of 6.  Alex is still talking about the amazing tiramisu there!

Fun

Sunday morning before we left, we enjoyed some kayaking and paddle boarding on the Danube River.

These guys were…sailing??? Around the area where we got in the river.  IT was fascinating to watch.

We started playing “subway roulette”.  We all stand in a line with our fingers pointed out in front of us.  When the train pulls into the station, whoever has their finger closest to the button to open the door wins.  We get some really strange looks from passengers on the train as they go by slowing down for the stop.
